yep , i just got back from seeing a good friend in the houston v.a. hospital.
he's fairly young really , 62 years old , and just had triple by-pass surgery. the doctors have been warning him from years to quit smoking , but he said he'd rather die. well he came close because right after the surgery one lung colapsed.
his surgery was last friday and he's still in i.c.u. , they think he'll be fine in a few days but will need to make lifestyle changes.i pray he does.
but i also hope you knew quitters will use this as motivation to stay tough and keep on quitting ! is it hard ? yes , but so is by-pass surgery.
please folks , let's all stay on out quits together , somebody loves and needs you.
