Hi Monia,   I am on day 5.... I had more craves on day 3.... soon this day will be over, and on to day 4.  give yourself a little reward for making it :)  I am still having craves off n on, but I'm trying to look ahead. Picture yourslef free.. No ball and chain, no looking for a place to smoke,no counting the smokes or running to the store, your hair smells nice,  Take deep breaths, when a crave hit, try to do something wash dishes, throw a load of laundry in.. the crave will only last a few minutes.

Tell the little monster in your head.. NO we don't do that anymore.

Hang in there, I'm right there with you....

 Bonnie

I'm so sorry your 3rd day has become so difficult - believe me it is normal - do try read as Josie suggested - many will have had the exact same.  Hangeth In There - One minute, One hour or One day at a time.  Say NO and have yourself prepared for the triggers or cravings or days out of no where that you CRY.
This is about my 12th quit and it's going better than ever before.  There were times that I was so agitated, frustrated, mood swings, crying, mad (many emotions that I always dealt with by smoking.
Many have said and remind us that giving into the crave or thought of smoking does not "change" our situation or circumstance.  Hold off for 10 minutes or so and usually it will pass for a time.  Remember, your body is healing and ridding itself of nicotine.
Walking, deep breathing and water, water, water has helped me alot - also post as much as you can and get your thoughts out to clear your head and preoccupy your thoughts and emotions.
SSC is great and helped me with encouragement and comments from many people that have been or going through the same things.
Grab someone's hand and let's keep each other motivated and encouraged to keep the QUIT.

Monia, sorry to hear this. I wonder if its like the third day blues? you know after the initial euphoria of having three good days? I am sure it will pass. Hang on in there, you're doing so great.

monia,

Do a search within the forums and find the experiences that others have had.  This is normal and it can be challenging.  Your mind and body are still healing and it may take a couple of weeks.

We are very proud of you and you are pushing forward!
