Way To Go.  I am a returnee... I have found more positive thinking and a huge chage in attitude has helped me so much.

It took us more than a few days to learn to smoke and to become addicted.  So it takes positive thinking and time to become  "Ex smokers" or Non smokers.  I find the more I can think of myself in situations, and I tell myself.. I don't do that anymore.. I no longer smoke.

Great job Steelroots!

I love hearing how positive you are about your quit.  It sounds like you gave your self a nice reward for staying smoke free. Rewards are very important motivational tools.  I am sure there are many more rewards in your future.  Check out "Rewarding Yourself" in Milestone 5 to set up a reward schedule to help keep you stay motivated and positive!

Steelroots, congrats on 11 smoke free days!  You're approaching the end of Heck Week!  Good to hear that you are doing puzzles and crafts to keep you busy!  Isn't it amazing how much more time you have now?  And you gotta love the extra $$$  too!  Love your reward at the cafe too!  Keep taking it one day at a time and you'll go far!  We're all rooting that this is your final quit!

On day 11 of my quit after a relaspe of a 85 day quit.  It's doing very well and I'm so excited.  As many of you already know,  I'm quitting cold turkey.  I set my quit meter back (I regret that I did, but felt like I should) but in my mind, I'm considering myself quit since April.

I'm enjoying tremendously not smelling like smoke and going outside in the heat to smoke.  I'm saving money and time.  Doing puzzles and crafts with extra time.

Even treated myself to dinner at a favorite cafe this weekend.

Feeling much better and more positive than before and looking forward to going further on this journey.
