I'm not sure if you are the same person but I remembered a Pete who was always calling out people when they disappeared.  It was always like you got nervous when someone stopped posting so you would call out to please come back and post LOL.  Anyway used to think it was so funny the way you did that.  If you are the same person you have that style of writing that is pretty funny and nutty at the same time.  I'm sorry if I was one of those bad boys that chewed you out for starting up again.  I kinda get into peoples quits and hate to see them fail.  If all of this makes no sense then I think there are 2 Pete's out there that need to quit smoking and are kinda sounding the same. Lil, I would suggest reading the Allen Carr book to give you the mind set that quitting smoking should not be difficult or that you don't need to work harder to make it happen.  It's more about our mindset and how we think of smoking.  Do we still think it offers us something in the back of our minds? The book will refute any reason why you ever will need to smoke again.  That book along with this site can really make a difference.  The health benefits are a added bonus of quitting. But in my opinion we can not just quit based on being scared of ill health .  It still leaves one to think it offers other things if life that we need which is really not true but again is part of the addiction.  The book helps a lot to crush all those ideas that make quitting difficult.  That's why they call it the Easyway to quit smoking.  You still will have ups and downs but a least your conviction will get you through it.
You will succeed this time.
Ron

Hello Lil  Good for you making another attempt. Of course it isn't easy and you're right that luck has nothing to do with it. The health benefits are so worth it !! So get your (MM patent pending) crave kit together , keep lots of ice water on hand and let's get this done. It's about training our brains to think in a new way and learning how to live a new way of life. Tell yourself that no matter what happens today that I won't smoke. Excellent for you. We want you to succeed. breather
