Thank you for sharing! I'm glad to hear that your husband is getting better!
We're happy to have been here for you this year. I can hear the dedication and power in your voice. You're ready to quit, and you have the strength to do so!
What have you learned from your attempts? What will you do differently this time?
You have suffered more than most of us do while trying to quit! Your personal struggle has been amazingly hard......most people would have given up and stopped trying - maybe you should call yourself a 'trier' rather than a repeater, as it shows you are aiming for a goal.
You have demonstrated huge personal courage in this past year and it is an inspiration to so many...new quitters and old alike!
I hope to be around to support you in the future and say that I am so proud to know you and count you as a friend. My regards to both you abd Dewey.
For some of you who know me I am a repeater and a repeater. With that said a year ago my husband got very ill and it wasn't until January he was diagnosed with brain cancer. I have tried a couple time quit during this and failed. This is going to be it, I need to be around for him and myself.
We have seen lots of doctors this past week, but the most important ones were the surgeon, did the MRI, and the oncologist. There has been no change since his last MRI which means he is off chemo and were are now in a three month cycle :-) , unless something changes. Now maybe Dewey can gain some weight and hopefully soon get his taste back. This last year has been one hell of ride and so glad that we had you guys right there with us. Thank you doesn't even begin to express our gratitude for all of you, but thank you!!!
