I know what U mean Mach - at my worst Junkie time -just before I came here to find some help with my Quit, I started getting up at 3:00 or 4:00 AM; just to have a smoke! My Junkie actually loved that middle of the night smoke - I'd mull over all things I had no control over; I got privacy to smoke (no one caught me closet smoking at 3:00 AM!) so I understand your all night crave thinking! I still get up at 3:00 if I can't sleep, but now I have tea with lemon & a bit of honey -then I log on to SSC, read, read read - or read my AC book, surf the web, etc. Then I can get back to sleep better most nights.
To replace that #1 smoke in the morning, I do what Peteg and Dundude do (I think I understand your guy method . . . I pretend I have a smoke (use a straw as Shevie does) or my weapon is cinnamon stix - andgo ahead & inhale away! A deep deep toke off that straw/cinnamom stick (or 3) and you'll get the O2 you need to get past that crave. Hope this works for U Mach - it helped me anyway . . . Keep on with NOPE Macho! Day 1 & 2 were worst! for me, but we're here 4U

like what AC says, be careful of too much weaning off the cigs. Then what happens is every one you have becomes too special. I kind of liked hating the last ones just to show that you never want to go back. Remember that story of the lady that had one a week and was just as addicted waiting every moment when she could get that one. Doesn't hurt though to cut back just so that morning wake up is a little more tolerable, just don't make them too gratifying.
