Thanks Eya, I did look up my old post.. and then went waaaaayyyyy back and looked up some old old posts I did back in 2001. That was great. I was a whole different person back then (I'm afraid to say...better).
I am trying everything you suggested, okay maybe not the cinnamon sticks, they kinda burn.. lol
I'm an old serial type quitter who has bailed on my quit enough times to be very wary of these mini slumps in resolve! I think we let our guard down when we think we've got this NICOdemon licked for good & that's when a craving pops up again! When it happens to me, I get as far away from 2nd hand smoke as I can! . . . then I try to figure out what triggered the craving . . . then I log on here and read my very first post again -IE: the one that gave me the motivation to want to Quit for good! . . . then I chew some raw cinnamon sticks then if I still want to smoke, I pour water over my head!
Hope this helps Charm! And your boss is in a good mood today, in case she finds you dawdling here LOL : ) Eya
At the beginning, I stayed real close to this site, reading, posting, etc. I also played alot of FB games (till my shoulder gave out using the mouse too much )
I better slide on the FB games for now (I'm at work and really don't want to get fired )
But my boss is real understanding about the SSC... she knows it helped me greatly in the past and won't mind too much if she sees me on it now.
This is very common. Often quitters go through slumps where they feel they are missing cigarettes. Know that this is completely normal and it will pass. When you first quit what did you do to manage the "itching"?
Members, how do you get through times when you feel an intensified urge to smoke?
