Positive Affirmations

for 13 år siden 0 816 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I hear so many people say that they were stressed. This happened or that happened. It's like we're waiting for something to happen so we'll have an excuse to light up. We only have a daily reprieve of our addiction so why not deal with it on a daily or if need be moment by moment basis. Affermation: No matter what happens I won't smoke today. breather

To this day, I can clearly remember the positive affirmation that I used regularly during those difficult early days when the waves of craves came over me.

It was, repeatedly and whilst taking slow, deep breaths:-

"I have no need nor desire to smoke".

It worked!

It has helped me to affirm:

No matter what happens - Don't smoke!

Thanks for sharing these Lainey :) There are lots of good affirmations to relate to here. I love yours : )  . . .  and I've always loved Aloha's: "Yippee, I'm a Non Smoker" That one just makes ya want to get up and sing it to the world!   I'm still at the daily pledge stage of  "I will not smoke today" and NOPE. Mundane perhaps - but I have 9 months of NOPE in now so it's working. Thanks for the inspiration : )  Eyja

When I quit smoking, I found positive affirmations really really helpful. I came across some of them today while cleaning out old files, so I decided to share them with you!

I do NOT smoke!
My lungs are strong and healthy, I am able to breathe deeply and fully.
I am a non smoker and I am proud of myself!
I have more energy and stamina than ever before, I enjoy life and I am glad to be here.
When I see or even think of a cigarette, I automatically hear the words "I do not smoke" - and I don't.
I am in control of myself and eveything I do. I always do what is best for me, ,y self and my future.
I am not going to let one little cigarette run my life!
I enjoy breathing fresh clean air, being healthy and being in control of my body and mind.
I do not see smoking as being strong, intelligent or glamorous in any way. I see it for what it really is - poison, and it has No place in my life.
Being a non smoker is easy for me. After all I was born that way, and it is a natural way for me to be.
I am a non smoker, I do not smoke.
"Yippie, I am a non smoker!" from the Allen Carr book.
I give myself permission to relax, feel good, breathe deeply and fully, and enjoy being a healthy non smoker at all times and in all circumstances.
I am able to achieve any goal which I set for myself. I see, in my mind, a clear picture of myself having already accomplished my goal. I create it, I see it often and I achieve it.
I am winner. The difference between winners and losers is that winners are willing to do the work to get the results they desire.
I am in the process of positive change. I choose to have vibrant health and that includes being smoke free.
I will not smoke today.
I love being smoke free. I take deep breaths and relax. I love being able to breathe freely again.
I can do this.  I can save my own life.
Quitting smoking is a choice - I choose to be smoke free.
Our classic SSC byline "Not One Puff Ever" and my own "Smoking is NOT an option!"
