Congratulations on your six month Quit Anniversary Sparky! Way to Go! You're doing very well in spite of all the odds and we're proud of you and glad you are making it work!
Sparky Congrats on your 6 Months. That is a wonderful accomplishment
So sorry to hear about your husband. May you find peace soon and reach the point where the wonderful memories are stronger than the pain. Best wishes for your healing process.
Ashley, I am still going though the grief process. It will be nine months Saturday that my husband passed away. I do go to grief support groups and that seems to help. They say it can take a year or two before you find your "new normal." It is all a day at a time and embrace the good days and embrace the sadness and be grateful for the time you had with your love one. It is a strange space in life, but I will be better. Thanks for asking.
6 months was a huge milestone for me, and I feel you think like that too. I hope you are going to reward yourself, as you deserve it!
Throughout your quit, you have put up with more than most, yet you do come across as very positive. You must have some days worse than others, but you still keep on in that positive way! I do admire you!
I haven't been here in awhile, but do check in every now then. I wanted to share a BIG milestone with you. I have now been quit for six months and loving the freedom once again. I am still working though the grief process, but each day get somewhat better.
