This is such an inspiring thread! 102 days here and feeling great.
Recently, I experienced a really stressful work conference and a blowout with my landlord, and I did a good job at work and the landlord thing got resolved and no cigarettes were needed to get through either (even if I did think about them a few times).
Anything we got through as smokers we have the strength to get through as non-smokers!
Congrats snice!!! Forging your way to Freedom, you go girl!!!!
Coming off the patch was easy for me. I was only on it for 3 weeks but coming off was scary. Sweaty palms and anxiety contemplating no nicotine. I bought nic gum just in case I needed it but never used it! Went right to nic naked with just walking and SF gum :)
44 smoke free days, and I am starting the last step of the nicotine patch tomorrow morning. 2 more weeks to total freedom from nicotine, I can't wait!!!

Great idea, Red! I am still just a baby at day 47 but I am feeling good (most of the time, anyway) and so happy to be a non-smoker. Machiavelli, I think there are people in my life who don't believe I've REALLY quit either . . . asking me things like how many did I have over the weekend and stuff. But who cares what they think, I know I'm done and it feels great!
