Wife,
Those are some tough stressors you are dealing with! Keep in mind you can always change your goals. Furthermore, it may be helpful to you to review your plan for these goal and include new strategies to help you with these new triggers.
Some members have found it helpful to journal, take up a hobby or lean on friends.

Hi all,
Thanks for the reply eagle.
Our tension is contually mounting! My husbands father recently found out that the cancer in his bowel that we all thought was removed last year and no longer needing treatment for has returned. This man was quite a heavy smoker and drinker in his youth and I am so fearful that my husband is going to find himself in the same circumstances. He of course is in denial and can't understand what I am "complaining and harping on him" (his words). So I find myself alone most days lately. This has not been good for any of my drinking goals. That is one of the reasons I haven't been on here as much as I had originally planned to be. Oh well, tomorrow is a new day. We will see what it brings.
Good night
Hi everyone,
Wishing all dads out there a very happy fathers day!
We are spending tonight at home and I have prepared a very special dinner for my family. Hopefully the night goes well. Things have been a little tense lately but I am still making an effort.
Happy gardening winegeek!
Talk to you all again soon.
Hi Wife!!
I just planted a whole bunch of deep pink and purple Pansies and some "Wee Willies". They look so cute!!
I usually like to plant vegetables...everything to make salsa.
My husband suggested that I plant only flowers for the resale value......of course,He was right again!!
So,I have brigh flowers for the buyers.
I'll plant a vegetable garden when we're settled in our new home.
See you,write back soon!!
Hello everyone,
Fellow Canadian here! As I mentioned in my other post, I am here to see about not only my own drinking habits and cutting back, but my husbands too. I am really gaining a lot of insight into this and am now seeing it for the addicting habit that it is.
As for your question what do I like to do, right now gardening has become my new passion! :)
Hey..The saving money thing is nice.
I used to smoke a pack of cigs a day,in my town that meant 10 dollars. I have found a new financial freedom ,I'm no longer longer tied to that bad habit.
I'm now trying to cut down the drinking habit,It's tough..I have spent way too much money on alcohol these last few years.
It's time for me to "wise up".
Hi Winegeek,
I'm here and still going strong. I'm really starting to get comfortable in my sobriety. It's not always easy but the money I'm saving and all the other benefits are so worth the bad days!
