Yes, I get a lot of indigestion when I get heart palps. In fact, I wonder if the heart palps are not heart palps at all and actually just gas bubbles in the chest. Whenever I get that flip floppy feeling, I stretch out my rib cage and move it side to side and up comes the gas. Every time I get that feeling, it ends up in a belch. I've paid attention to gas in the lower belly area and have noticed that it can get pretty active just like it does in the chest. So, I seriously wonder if the flip flops are more of a gassy thing than a heart thing. Of course, I'm not a doctor so I don't know for sure but, like I said, for me, I find it more likely to be gas than anything else.
A comment about the other post about eating a heavy meal and feeling your heart race - I found out that it is very natural for your heart to beat faster and harder after you eat because your body has to digest what you just ate, so it works harder - very natural. I also found out that when you sleep, your heart beats faster as well. Even just laying down makes your heart beat faster. I thought I'd throw that in there because both of these made me anxious for years also.
