Congratulations on reaching one month.   That's awesome.   Be careful with the food, as you don't pack want to pack on a ton of weight.   Alcohol contains a lot of sugar, so part of what your body is craving when you stop drinking is sugar, so if you eat a lot of high sugar foods, you're actually continuing to feed your alcohol cravings.   I was advised to eat small regular meals with lean protein, some carbs, and lots of vegetables.
 
As for vitamins, yes drinking interferes with the absorption of some vitamins, most notably vitamin B.   When I was in rehab, the Dr. recommended taking a daily mulit-vitamin, a vitamin B-12 supplement, calcium with magnesium, and vitamin D.
 
But it would probably be worth going to the Dr. and having a full physical, blood work done, just to make sure that you're blood isn't deficient in other areas.    I know it can be hard to talk about, but I encourage you to be honest with your Dr., about how much you were drinking, as well as the fact that you've stopped now.   Your Dr. will probably want to run a liver enzyme panel, to see how well your liver is functioning.
 
As for the cravings, what finally worked for me, was developing other things to do during the time I used to spend drinking, which was pretty much every night, all night, so when I quit I suddenly had a lot of free time on my hands, and I was bored.   So I started going to AA meetings, which I still do, I also took up knitting, some people start exercising, anything's that thealthy and distracts you from thinking about drinking is good really.
 
Hang in there, it does get easier.

I'm on day 7 of my road to staying sober and I have to admit that some of the concerns that you have/had were on my mind as well.  During my drinking binges and consistent drinking I would not eat properly or at all during those times.  I have read that when we drink copious amounts of alcohol our body is depleted of essential vitamins.  So what I did this past week 
was buy a generic multi-vitamin from the local super market.  Started eating properly again after my stomach was able to tolerate foods again and drinking a lot of water.  I have stayed away from juices or soda's (not really into sweet stuff anyway)

Look at the positive side of staying sober, your body is thanking you.  Your mind is probably 100% clearer than it was during your drinking ( I know mine has been) and if I've learned anything during the times I've stopped in the past when you do stop drinking it's like losing a "friend" I use that term loosely because we used it whenever we felt a certain way, it never said no etc.  However that friend turned on us and got us to where we were.  To get yourself going, try going to the gym, go for a run, go to the bookstore and grab some coffee, I love doing that almost daily just to relax and get out to be around other people.  It's a great way to pass the time and keep your mind busy.  

Another thing, I don't know if you had gained any weight during your drinking but for me I was constantly active working out and typically stayed between 185 and 195.  Just over the course of this year, I gained almost 45lbs! I was shocked after I weighed myself Monday morning after I decided to stop drinking at how I had let myself go.  However just over this short 7 day time span I have already dropped 9 lbs.  I haven't done anything drastic aside from leaving the bottle alone.  Just think about how resilient our bodies and minds are.  It gives us a chance to get back to what we were.  So don't give up hope, 
try something different.

Congratulations on reaching one month! This is a big achievement. How did you reward yourself for getting to the one month mark? Remember that it is important to reward yourself. When you were drinking you would have associated having a drink as a reward. Now that you  you no longer drink you need to find new ways to reward yourself.
 
In addition to this it is important to think about what you enjoyed about drinking. Once you figure this out look for new activities that could fufill those wants. For example, if you found drinking relaxed you after work what are other activities you could take up that would relax you? Drinking a herbal tea, practicing yoga, going for an evening stroll? Find what works for you.
 
Also, take a look at the program. The program will give you more tips and tricks that will help you tackle this.

i have stopped again drinking, it has been 1 month now,constantly feeling like i am missing something, so i drink tea, coffee, cold water, gatorade, but nothing feels satisfying so ithen i start eating, does anybody have any suggestion regarding this and also, after drinking for so long and so much, should there be certain vitamins that my body might be lacking because of the drinking?
