  Hello All 

  Thank you all so much .  Foxman  I have subscribed to the channel with the mediations , thank you sooo much for the link. I have to meditate as I heard it helps with your thoughts and wow do i need help with that for sure . Sian , I do not eat regularly at all i leave it all to chance with everything as far as times and types of foods probably why I am feeling anxious etc a lot as well it is sooo bad. Ashely thank you I do need help with depression and anxiety I have suffered for years I know its a combination of things but I feel I will start to address these things one step at a time in Hopes of not feeling like this anymore . Starting with the no drinking and healthy diet and alcohol. Its just hard because that is why I do drink is so I dont feel like this lol what a cycle. I just really need to focus and not run ... I am good at running away from problems. Thank you all for the tips :)

Congratulations for making this choice; it may feel hard now but soon you will feel better then ever. Just keep working at it and keep posting.  

Great idea to try to find more information. You could check out our sister sites depressioncenter.net and paniccenter.net. These sites walk you through a cognitive behavioural therapy program and they have support groups just like the AHC. They require quite a bit of reading but if you put the work in you will see results. If you think both program will be helpful to you then I suggest focusing on one at a time. Our depressioncenter.net is the newest and was recently rewritten to be more motivating and shorter, so you may want to start there.

Hi Junebug,  I got into this way of thinking last year and made some changes gradually, the first was to start the day with a healthy breakfast of slow-release carbs (e.g. muesli or wholegrain toast). It's become a good habit now and I wouldn't say I totally eat regular meals but I never skip breakfast any more and energy levels are much improved. What is your eating like at the moment, do you eat regular meals, graze through the day or pretty much leave it to chance?

Here is a workshop I attended couple of weeks ago. It is a process oriented workshop accompanied by meditation techniques on the 7 chakras. It was very powerful, you may listen and try some techniques. You may also find myriad videos on other life solutions.

Hello 

   I need to learn a healthier way of living down to food and drinks. I suffer from anxiety and depression hence why i have drowned my life in alcohol. Now that I have decided that is just making my mental and physical health worse and kicked it to the curb( trying too) I have np physical energy or motivation, my body feels like its with-drawling and i just want to start to feed myself goodness. Any books or info or anything that can help would be awesome :)
