I just registered as a member and I am excited about being able to talk to someone who is going through this awful problem. I am a professional who has a terrific and supportive family. I am very well liked and have lots of friends, there really is nothing about my life that is bad or has ever been bad, yet I have been dealing with "panic type" physical symptoms for 4 years now. My problem is I have a masters degree in biology with a concentration in biochemistry. I CANNOT GET MYSELF TO BELIEVE MY PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS ARE IN MY HEAD AND NOT LINKED TO SOME KIND OF PHYSIOLOGICAL PROBLEM!!!. Because of this I have been tested for everything under the sun (godbless my doctors) and everything is normal. After my July heart sonogram (my 3rd one) I finally thought I had convinced myself that this physical hell I was experiencing EVERY DAY was simply panic disorder. I was doing really well, heart palpitations stopped and my feeling of doom was gone, yeah! BUT Thanksgiving day began a NEW set of physical symptoms that have only gotten worse. Trembling and shaking sensations in my neck and head, muscle trembling, fatigued eyes, visual disturbances, strong feelings of passing out, especially when talking or lecturing, and headaches to beat the band. These sensations occur all day long. Sorry to go on like this but my question is, has anyone experienced a complete change in their physical symptoms? My symptoms set off my attacks, not people, places or things. I was just getting used to the palpitations and the anxious feelings. This has thrown me completely off guard! My doctor thinks I think to much about what could be causing these problems. I am not totally convinced we are not missing something wrong physiologically. Why such a drastic change in symptoms? These are MUCH WORSE than what I have experienced in the past. Anythoughts angry T

I had a bad panic attack on Wednesday and have been in fear of another ever since. I was feeling fine today and thentoward the late afternoon I started worrying about money and then the symptoms started coming back. I made some Calm Tea for my fiance and myself and then we had a nice evening together. I know how you feel with what you wrote and it's nothing new for me. About the worst of the feelings for me is the dissociative feelings like you're not there and all. Just hang in there and something will bring you out of it. I have done yoga, taken some suppliments I have taken before and also the tea. The panic attack I had the other day was either being more aware of things and that scared me or it was just chemical imbalances happening again it just happened to get me at that time. Nagative thoughts often bring on panic. I am not too sure about the stomach thing. I know mine gets restless when I'm stressed. Anxiety can be a major cause of this. Hope you're doing better by the time you read this. What have you done to help yourself since the time of your posting. I ask this because I find when I try and work out of it, I usually do. Holding the good thoughts can often be a problem. But the longer you hold the good thoughts, the better chance you have of breaking out of the funk you may be in.
