Welcome to The Panic Center. We thank you for sharing your story with us today. This support group is full of supportive individuals who may be able to help you answer some questions regarding panic and anxiety.
If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physicians advice.
The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. This may help better assess the situation.
I am glad to see you are going to be working on the program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead.

hello everybody. I am a new member and I truly believe now that I can get through this. It is so nice to know that other people truly understand what I am going through. My fiancee tries to support me but just doesn't understand. I don't blame him. I experienced my first panic attack 3 years ago. It has now escalated to fear of heart attacks and dying. i can't even sleep in my own bed because that is when I get my attacks, at nighttime for no reason. I truly belive that i am going crazy. I do not want to live with this disease anymore. I am so angry that it has taken over my life. I've been on meds for 2 years. they worked for awhile until I thought that I didn't need them anymore. BIG MISTAKE!!!! the attacks came back 10 times worse. I have now been back on for 7 months. This is my first time doing CBT. I am soooo ready to get my life back.
Welcome aboard! I found this site about a week ago, and I have found it to be very informative and comforting. Just reading about other people with the same issues as me makes me feel better about things (That there ARE others who understand) I posted a few times and the responses are always positive and helpful.

Hello, I am a new member. I have struggled with panic attacks for a long time but was ok for 3 years, then a series of stressors triggered it again. I found this website over the new year weekend when I hit bottom and felt I couldn't go on like this anymore. I am hoping it will help me. I am soooo afraid of losing everything in my life.
