Butch...hi! And thank you. You are wonderful. And no, I do not want to hear your soft side lol.....i need someone to tell me these things because i dont' tell them to myself. I am actually workout out a little bit. I go on the bike (have one in my house) for about 15 min...i bring my heart rate up to about 150/min. Thats cause i heard that vigorous exercise is great for anxiety and depression. Well, i have to admit that i'm not working out as much as i should....i am extremely busy with school. so i try to do it when i could. I also do some yoga.......but again, i have stopped being consistent because i am so busy. But you are right, I need to exercise more. And i need to think positive more. But its sooo hard butch...it really is. I feel like im such a negative person.....everything makes me angry and ticked off. THIS IS NOT ME.....i feel like i have changed for the worse. I am just so absorbed with this anxiety that i lost touch with myself and the people around me. Its a horrible feeling. I worry and worry and worry about everything and i stress all the time. Like right now, as i am typing, my whole abdomen hurts me....i feel like its soooo tight and when i press on it, it hurts. I am getting nervous and wondering what this possibly could be. I constantly wish that i am 'normal' because i feel anxious wherever i go....and i just want to go home no matter what. I do push myself. I really do....but i really dont' feel good in that situation...i know that i shouldn't feel good. I just want to so badly...i want to be normal and do normal things while feeling FREE AND HEALTHY. So i will take your advice and work out more. I will work on helping myself and stop relying on other people. The problem is that i dont' believe in myself that much....so i need to work on that first. I need to beleive in ME. thank you butch for your help....you really touched me!

dorothys, Welcome to The Panic Center. We thank you for sharing your story with us today. This support group is full of supportive individuals who may be able to help you answer some questions regarding panic and anxiety. Are you currently working with your doctor? In the meantime please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physicians advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. This may better help assess the situation. We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. Have you tried relaxation techniques? What about breathing techniques? For tonight, prepare by reducing your anxiety level as much as you can. Try a hot bath, some soothing music or a warm beverage? Tomorrow do sign up for the Panic Diary where you can record your daily level of anxiety. You can also find how helpful it is to use breathing techniques to help you deal with your panic and anxiety. The Panic Program can help you understand more and may help you go about challenging your thoughts. If you have any questions or concerns with our "TOOLS" you can contact our support department at support@paniccenter.net. Take care and we hope to hear from you soon. Hello guys, I am new to this site, and I have a problem and need to know if anyone ever feels this. It is as though I am always thinking of my breathing, feeling as though I cannot breathe, but I am breathing just fine. It feels as though in my upper chest, I am numb and cannot feel myself breathing. Almost like something is preventing air from getting in, but I can and do get a deep breath in, but feels like a hugh numbness. I don't like the feeling of this, and I get very scared. I just wish I would stop feeling this way. I get very angry over this! I find when I drift off to sleep, I suddenly wake up with feelings as though I stopped breathing, or am not breathing.

hi angel, i can relate to you, you need to go out and walk and work even if you feel that you can't do it. it is the best thing for you. you need to push yourself to do things. walk or jog or just find the most physical work you can do. believe me it will do wonders for you, not because of what the work does to your body but what it will do for your mind. i don't know why you should just believe me because you don't me but how about trusting me on this one. ha. please just try it for a week or so and please let me know if you don't notice a big difference. it can't hurt a thing and it will do you a world of good. you can let me know through this group thing or you can just write to me if you would like. another thing you can do is stop thinking about it so much get your mind on other things. in know that it is a hard thing to do. the work or walking or jogging will help with that and you should look at yourself and tell yourself you are ok and you love yourself and just think positive say positive things. your mind doesn't even need to believe them it just needs to hear them a lot and it will take over from there. i was going to write that i hope this helps but i thought about it and i know it will help if you have the guts to do it and if you really want to help yourself you will make yourself do it. so there ya go kiddo. i am tough but that's what you need that's what i needed and that's what we all need. get up right now and get started. don't make any excuses, not one. ha ha. i am real soft on the inside but if i let that show it won't help you as much. ha ha. my name is dan but it is butch on here. i don't care what you call me as long as you listen to what i am telling you. ha ha. take care . stay healthy and happy. you have to get yourself there. just think there is no help coming. you have to help yourself. God bless you. with love for you as a person and with a big wish from me and a prayer from me. you are going to be ok sweetie pie. love dan. bye for now.

What has your homeopath suggested in terms of natural remedies? In the last year I would like to think that I have made the most progress (in the last 10-15 years of varying degrees of anxiety). And it wasn't until I started making strides did I feel so bad about my low times. In retrospect it was the progress I was experiencing which made the bad times to appear that much worse. Hope that make some sense to you! :p This continual fight can be exhausting. Keep going- there will be a light at the end of this tunnel! ;)

Thanks Casey and Alison for responding! Alison, I am not on any medication. Its just a personal preference not to take any medication for this anxiety. Actually, I am going the natural way. I am seeing a homeopathic doctor who is helping me a lot. I just need to be patient because it takes time. But the fast heart beats really makes me nervous cause it something you cannot ignore. Actually, all of the anxiety symptoms are hard to ignore. I feel like i have relapsed lately...its very hard to deal with this...i dont' know how to get back to where i was. I felt myself improving the past 2 months and then all of a sudden i am back to square one. Its horrible. why does this happen?

Hi Angel, Panic and anxiety can cause a variety of symptoms. Lack of energy has been a popular topic here in the past, fellow members should be responding soon. You may want to consider consulting your doctor if these symptoms do not improve. Casey _____________________________ The Panic Center Support Team

Hi everyone. Does anyone here feel like they have no energy on a daily basis? I dont' know whats wrong with me. I wake up every morning feeling sick with no energy. Even after i eat, i still have no energy. I dont' know if this is just part of the anxiety...cause i know it takes a lot of energy out of me. Also, my heart has been beating fast every single day....and it gets worse when someone upsets me or when i feel stressed. Can anyone here relate to me?
