kitty,
I also worry about my heart. I feel totally the same way youdo. I think that my heart is going to stop every day. I think I am going crazy. It's nice to find out finally that i am not alone in this fight against panic and Anxiety. If you need my support at any time just add me to your buddy list.
Kitty,
I hear you! I have experienced that feeling of being anxious because I am not anxious. It gets frustrating doesn't it? It is like our bodies or brains or whatever don't know what it is to be in a relaxed state. With hard work (like the program at this site) and time you can get better. I did it. I still have anxiety creep up on me from time to time, but I am continuing to find ways to deal with it, and it is getting easier. Your feelings are normal even though it doesn't seem like they are. And here there are many of us who will not laugh at your feelings or think your crazy! Hang in there and things will get better.
Kitty,
We thank you for sharing your story with us today. This support group is full of supportive individuals who may be able to help you answer some questions regarding panic and anxiety. Have you made an appointment to see a doctor. In the meantime please feel free to roam the site at your own pace.
If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physicians advice.
The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor.
We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. Many members have advised of their progress.
If you have any questions or concerns with our "TOOLS" you can contact our support department at support@paniccenter.net.
Take some time for yourself right now and use breathing techniques or even stretches to keep you calm.
Keep Strong,
Josie
