I can promise you that its not getting worse, it may seem so, but believe me when I say that it will pass. Try this: get a 365 day calander or regular calander of something that you like (for example cats, sports, music) at the end of each day write a couple of brief sentences decribing your overall mood throughout the day and then provide an overal anxious rating (1-10, 1 being relax, 10 being panic). Do that for every day and at the end of each week or month or whatever range of time, go back and review what you wrote. You will be able to notice some kind of pattern and often times you'll realize that there were a good number of days where you felt pretty good, rather than going with the assumption that you've been feeling bad for what seems like a long time.
Become an observer and even though its hard to attend class and work, dont avoid, go and endure the best you can and don't be ashamed or embarrassed to let your teachers and bosses know of what your dealing with, tell them that you may need to get some air during class or work. Knowing that people understand and acknowledge helps a great deal. Trust me, anxiety doesnt have to take over your life and it wont.
