Joe,
Please take the time to check with your doctor to come with a plan that is right for you. They can rule out anything medical and can also help with exercise and proper eating.
Ask about chiropractic care and see if this is an avenue that your doctor would like you to visit :)
Keep Strong,
Josie

Hi Joe,
I have had similar problems but without the sharp headaches though. I know that poor posture, clenching under stress and stress generally can tense up the muscles especially of the neck and shoulders. Before you see a chiropractor I think you should see a doctor and perhaps get some X-rays to see that it's not something more sinister. I had seen a chiropractor before but I think that they are all too keen to manipulate which can be dangerous and treatments seem to be long, lengthy and end up being too expensive. After consulting your doctor see whether they can recommend a good physiotherapist. I still suffer from chronic muscle stiffness and once was told that the Feldenkrais technique was good- so perhaps find a physio who specialises in this. I found Feldenkrais to be useful more than yoga. Hope this helps. :)
Does anyone know anything about chiropractors? I have been having sudden sharp headaches when I turn my head a little to the left. And I notice in the mornings, if I don't sleep well, that I wake up with my legs and sometimes my forearms kind of tingling and heavy feeling. Sometimes this goes away quickly, sometime it lasts all day. Are these common anxiety symptoms? They are new to me. I have a friend that says a chiropractor or a D.O. could help me. Does anyone else see one? What about yoga? Thanks for any help.
