Lynnp, Welcome! I'm sorry to hear you are having a difficult time but we are here to see you through to better days. Please start reworking the tools of the program for this new fear. Many members have found it helpful to abstain from researching on the internet as it can feed your panic cycle. If you're concerned about new symptoms, please consult your doctor. He/she is the best authority to determine if they are related to panic or other underlying illness. Keep close. Danielle ______________________ The PC Support Team

Lynn, This is just a minor setback for you. I am sure you will overcome this fear and your anxiety as you have done in the past. Just have patience and you will get better. Stay positive and no more googling medical issues! LOL! I had this same problem and still do it on occasion and it never does me or anyone else any good. Keep me posted and good luck!

Lynn, Like Diva said, you can develop new symptoms and I think it always happens just as soon as you get used to the old ones. My anxiety comes and goes and each time new worries emerge, old ones fade, new symptoms appear and old ones may stick around as well. I have found that I worry most about dying, especially from heart related problems. I fear having a heart arrythmia, heart attack, blood clots, etc. and it has been very hard to overcome. I have had a heart catherization/electrophysiology study, EKG's, a CT Scan of my heart, and all have come back normal but I still have this fear. My best advice is to get a grip on it now before you end up worrying about something that is totally out of your control. Just do what you can to keep your heart healthy (proper diet, exercise, reduce stress) and leave the rest to fate. I wish I could take my own advice LOL. Good luck with everything. ~Isabella~

hi diva, thankyou so much for your reply.i have had very differnt symptoms this time, iam worried its heart related.i have started researching on the net and made my symptoms worse.you know what its like i have had everthing possible.my friends dad died suddenly last week from heart failure he was such a fit man.i think this is what triggered my attack. i also had stopped my meds three weeks previous and was coping well then bang its back.i fear sudden death it really scares me.i cant believe that i have let this get a grip again and how quickley it is destroying my life again.when i used to read posts i thought how bad it must be to fear heart problems well thats me now.what really gets to me is how can you feel these symptoms if they dont exsist.

Well LYNN< I DON"T KNOW ABOUT THAT THE BOOKS SAY BUT I KNOW ABOUT MY OWN EXPERIENCES> I have been dealing with anxiety for over 15 years. I also had some very good runs , years and years. But now i had a relapse. And i do have some old symptoms that are gone and some new symptoms that are appearing. And i know my diagnosis and everything is well done and it is just the anxiety. So i say that new symptoms can appear. But that is just me and my experience. Anyway, you are not a lone, we here all know how hard it is to cope with anxiety. I wish you REwelcome on the forums :) -Diva

hi guys, my name is lynn have not posted in over a year everyone seems new on the site.i have been douing really well but last week i had a relapse and the anxiety has come back worse than ever.i have started meds again iam taking trazadone 50mg.i cant understand why its back. i was never totally free from anxiety but managed to get by.i have new symptoms this time do you think this is possible.i once read that you never experience new symptoms it was in Dr claire weekes book but i have got a whole load of new feelings.its really scaring me wondering if i should go back through all the tests again to start eliminating the problem or is it just the anxiety again.
