Feel Anxious For No Reason?

for 17 år siden 0 2101 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Oh and btw, this may sound corny but keeping a diary, a place where you can jot down your thoughts and such, can really help you figure out what the heck is making you anxious if you don't sensor yourself. I find that if i write regularly in my diary i see patterns emerge and sometimes discover really interesting things about what triggers me or what had been bothering me latelyt etc... Anyway, hope this helps. -Diva

Hiya David! I agree with Mary, i think we all have days like that where anxiety is just lurking around the corners. We all have theese little triggers in our minds (like being at home or the sun in your case it seems. That's one place you can start challenging, i guess, that just because one of your triggers is there doesn't mean you will have a bad day... Anyway, what i really wanted to say is I totally agree with Mary, give yourself time, be patient with yourself and the program really does work :) -Diva

Hi David, you know, I have that too. There is just something that triggers something inside you and it sets you off. Boy how I can relate. Just take it day by day. The program really helps you and teaches you coping techniques. I'm so glad I found this. It's really helping me. Sometimes when I'm at home and it's quiet, that's when things start up for me again. Like you, it reminds me of a time when I was sad and anxious. I just get up and do something different to get my mind off the past things and try and move on. You have to make yourself do this. Good luck. Everyone is different, you have to find what works for you.

David, Sign up for the Panic Diary where you can record your daily level of anxiety. The Panic Program can help you understand more and may help you go about challenging your thoughts. The Program guides you through the process of getting back control. It prepares you for this, one single step at a time, and gives you some homework to bring you along from session 1 to session 2, and onward, in a series of 12 sessions over a period of twelve weeks. Let us know how we can help :) Josie ______________________________ The Panic center Support Team.

How do you challenge anxious thoughts when you feel anxious for no reason? I got up this morning and just felt anxious. It may be because i'm off work at the min on holidays, and being at home during the day reminds me of a rough time in my life when I couldn't work and was at home with anxiety. Or it may be because today is a beautiful sunny day, and I had a really bad panic attack in the sun a few years back so always feel abit anxious in the sun.
