Vickers4, Have you tried a relaxation technique? If you utilize this strategy and your symptoms begin to dissipate you can chock it up to anxiety and if not then head to the ER for a quick check. Hang in there. Danielle ____________________ The PC Support Team

Btw and when I said "if I dont make myself worse with anxiety" I did not mean that i could make the allergic reaction worse with my anxiety. With me super high anxiety did not seem to affect my allergic reaction at all but it did go a long way at making me feel well anxious lol. Anyway, I just wanted to clarify that. So anyway, hang in there, I am positive you will be just fine and this will pass :) -Diva

Hiya Vickers. Well first of all I am glad that spider bite got better. I am sorry to hear about your reaction tho. I just wanted to let you know I have had several allergic reaction to medications. With me too it starts with a rash. Usually if I dont make myself worse with anxiety, and I listen to what my doctor says to do, it stays as no worse then a rash. Now I know we are all very different and we could react differently. But the whole rash hing just sounded real familiar to me and I wanted to let you know it has happened to me more then once and with my doctors care I was just fine as you can see. Your doctor sounds really great and you work in the same office as her. So I am sure she will help you and this will pass quickly. Just hang in there and you will see, you will feel better in no time. Once that rash is gone it will help :) Anyway, I hope this makes you feel a bit better :) Remember, this too shall pass! -Diva

As you know, I had a spider bite infection last week and was very anxious over that. I have been going to the doctors every day so she can treat it and it is getting so much better. The doctor gave me an antibiotic and after finishing the last dose on Monday, I woke up Tuesday with a major rash. I figured I would wait until today (Wednesday) to do anything with it because I would be seeing the doctor today anyway. She said it is an allergic reaction to the antibiotic and that sometimes it doesn't kick in until after a few days. She gave me two shots. One is to help with the itching, the other is to stop the reaction before it gets worse. I have to take more meds to get this to go away now. My anxiety is off the charts right now! I am weak, dizzy, blurry vision, having a hard time breathing and having a hard time concentrating. I told her about being kind of short of breath and after checking a few things, she told me it was most likely the anxiety causing it. But, she also told me after the shots that if the symptoms of the allergic reaction gets worse, to go to the ER. I can't tell if this is the anxiety or the meds, but I am having a really hard time staying at work right now. I work in my doctor's office so I feel like I should stay in case anything were to happen. But, most of me just wants to go home and climb in bed. What if this gets worse? What if the meds don't work on the allergic reaction? And, what if the things I'm feeling now is a reaction to the new meds she gave me today and not anxiety?! Any words of encouragement would be so appreciated!!!
