I was still setting very high goals for myself when the anxiety really started to climb. I had super aspirations and real life changing actions planned. When I couldn't follow through with them, I really began to lose ground. Anxiety became depression. These days I try to take on more reasonable challenges but still wish to improve back to a level of health where I can once again take on the massive challenges that I long to achieve.
Hiya!
I have to admit that is a fear I do wrestle with. I find tho that doing some thought challenging really helps. If I let myself worry and imagine the worse I feel , well, Bad lol. I find challenging those thoughts makes a real difference in my day. But the fears you are talking about I totally get.
Anyway, welcome to the forums and know that you are not alone in this :)

A fear of relapse or stressful event is fairly common among those with panic. Our members will be along shortly to share their experiences.
You may find thought challenging, relaxation techniques and distractions helpful to guide you away from this train of thought.

One of my main fears is that something will help in the future that I will not be able to handle and everyone will see me for the incompetent person that I am. Has anyone had this similar fear and how have you worked with this fear?
Thanks!
