Toni,
Although chest pain is common in anxiety attacks, the other symptoms you are describing may warrant a trip to the doctors. If your symptoms persist or worsen, please seek medical attention.
If they don't see Session 2 & 3 of your Session Diary. It will teach you how to challenge negative thoughts.

Hi everyone,
I broke my tailbone, fractured & dislocated my lower back earlier this year and it has had me laid up for a good number of weeks - I am back at work today - alone - and I have very bad chest pains. I think it is indigestion but I haven't eaten? My back is very sore from all my muscles working to compensate for the damaged region and I have stiff shoulders and well, everything!
I need to know how I can eliminate the fact I am not having a heart attack? I realise it may be panic but there is nobody at work to help me through it and I am getting worse - which makes me think I may have panic on top of a heart attack and it may bring me to a bad point faster?
My eyes have always been the centre of my panic - they are playing up again now so I know panic is involved - but the chest pain will not go away. I am only 30 years old??
I would love to know if anyone else has felt like this??
Thanks,
Toni
