I was worried about you(bad for a worry wort like me). Glad to hear you're busy again.
I did something which keeps me in touch with the people who pass on. I made a tickler file. That's a 31 day file folder which is used for money transactions, but i don't know anything about money. I put prayer cards of those who have passed away, and if I get them, cards of other anniversaries too! Over time, each day of the month has special meaning, and we can never lose the spirit of those moments!
As for my time audit, I forgot about this - I a dizzy person!!!
But I did it, and find I have such boring life, but I get "what has to be done" over with - that's what life is about.
I'm going to figure out the "rhythm of my life" more like you, Bren.
I myself start my day early, and i have to sit and check emails, have my coffee and eat breakfast, then take a shower, get dressed, and then i start cleaning and doing things around the house,or go for a nice walk!
I am a morning person....when spring/summer comes,i love to be up to meet the sunrise!!!
I'm doing a self-audit to discover this. I'm writing down what I do every hour, every day, and look for patterns.
I think I need some structure, and will look for what works for me
I avoid doing anything with finances at night since it worries me. My calendars, from Quo Vadis, have saturday and sunday combined, and I didn't know why. What I found was I needed to slow my pace on weekends, so I do half of my "to do" list on each day of the weekend It took a while for that light to go on though, even though the calendar was formatted that way.
Like the song says, we live a world now, like New York, which never sleeps, so we have to create our own rhythms and boundries
Everybody is busy, busy, busy, but if you don't pace yourself, you'll crash and burn
