I feel like "beating my own drum today" as well!! Since starting this program a month ago I have been able to challenge my negative thoughts and face many of my anxious thoughts. I never realized how many I had!! The thing that works really well for me is the line,,,"what is the worse thing that could happen?" , it gives me the strength to challenge myself daily!!
My biggest fear is driving again,,,,,,that one fills me with fear and makes my legs weak. I have not driven in nearly a year and it makes me feel so small that I let that fear take over. Well I have set a goal that next week,,,Monday...me and the car are going to get together and go for a short drive. Any suggestions to make it easier?
This morning I am feeling a little better and was even able to post something positive. I amaze myself at how I am able to look for and see the positives in life now, even when confronted with and exposed to so many negatives. So I am beating my own drum today. I really believe you have to look for the positives if you want to be happy in life..
