CBT from your perspective?

Hi Hugs,

I think a couple similarities you will realize is that both CBT and a blender will help simplify your life - and provide more options for you!
Enjoy your weekend.  I hope you are able to relax after what sounds like a hectic few days.

I'm starting to see analogies to CBT from everyday life.

Today i was overwhelmed with too much to do, as my uneasiness over many stresses over a short week accumulate, and I want to catch up.

I saw a specialist in another city, had to deal with an awful windstorm and the cleanup/legal issues, saw my personal physician...and then got a blender for a gift.  So I looked at some books on blending, and there are so many, adding to my already overwhelming feeling.

What is similar to CBT is that I'd had to change my cooking style from "not having a blender" to "having one", so I'm trying to retrain my brain.

Can anybody out there see the similarities between CBT and retraining your brain
