Actually this fact has been around for a few centuries but our generation with its information network has made it more available. So has understanding mental conditions. But not so much with those who have not experienced it.
You may be right. For about a year I learned every thing I could about this condition from my therapist and sites she sent me too. Some of it has increased my anxiety level. There are days I wish I had of stayed on the medication and flat lined my emotions instead of living with them. But the ups and downs are living even if some times they are unpleasant. The alternative is to live as a turnip so to speak. But even a turnip can be happy. All just a matter of what you want.
The conditions we have on this site cause more of those doubts and uneasiness. As I watched two plumbers come in today to do their work, I admired their expertise, since I'd never taken a trade or profession. Comparing is dangerous business!
Quote of the Day: Life's challenges are not supposed to paralyze you; they're supposed to help you discover who you are. - Bernice Johnson Reagon
I'm not certain I wish to learn any more, just do what has to be done, here
Sometimes you know the answer - what it is you have to do - and sometimes it ain't easy! it takes courage and hope, faith and determination. You have to believe in yourself that you are on the right path. If you are not on the right path, you'll know it. That's when the fear comes in, the doubts and the hopelessness.
