I'm so glad you got new furniture. I bought a new couch with chaise lounge on Friday but sadly have to wait for it to be delivered on Thursday of this upcoming week. In the meantime I am roughing it on a hard antique chair, but am looking forward to my new couch being delivered. I'm impressed with your successes. It is a good year.
There is information on the internet on eating to increase the amount of tryptophan that gets into a persons brain to be converted to seratonin. It doesn't increase tryptophan. There is plenty of that in food. It reduces the competition eight fold so more of it gets there instead of the other seven essential amino acids. It is very simple and doesn't require food changes, just how they are put together. Simply by having a small amount of carbohydrate with the high tryptophan foods will see to it that they get into the brain by removing or reducing the carrier needed for the other seven essential amino acids which also causes them to be used rather than stored so it has the advantage of weigh loss also. That I find a bonus. It also reduces the craving for carbohydrate foods above our need which happens when we eat foods like meat and cheese and eggs alone. Even putting milk in coffee without at least a little sugar or if you don't want the sugar then half a slice of toast. The same would go for carbohydrates alone without anything they can work with. Since 95% of the seratonin we produce is used in the body not brain it isn't important to try to get it all into the brain just the 5% we need and may not be getting. I feel a lot better doing this. I will continue to do it too since it isn't work. I have more energy too.
Davit.
PS. Hospitals no longer bother me, and I have had some bad experiences with them.
Hello Davit, Tough question? Not sure when it went but it definitely was time for it to go.
Setting boundaries was a big help for me and letting myself relax a bit with time frames really helps me too. I have been doing a little mindfulness lately also. Of course I think I will always be afraid of hospitals. This is the reason I have been working so hard on making sure I eat healthy and trying to make sure I get enough sleep. So that I can stay out of hospitals and it seems to be working..Well I had better let you go now for I am way past my bed time.
I so enjoy our talks..Your friend Red.:))
Did you do anything special to get over your fear or was it just time for it to go? It is good of course that it did and I'm happy for you. Mine just went and I don't really know when, just that it is gone.
