Hang in there...don't let the Devil get you down. Maybe you will find out that the medication was wrong, or that you are bi-polar. It sounds like it could be either. If it is, I guess the best one to tell you is the doctor. Keep telling him, what is going through your mind just as you put down on your note, and maybe he will be able to help you better. When you can't get suicide out of your mind, try to change the channel and say "I will never give in!" Your best friend in the universe is on your side! Or go to the nearest hospital and tell them....
HELLO ALL. THIS IS ROB IN SC. I'M A NEW MEMBER AND NEED HELP PLEASE. DX:MAJOR DEPRESSION. I WAS STARTED ON EFFEXOR 125 AND TRAZODONE 150, WHICH REALLY HELPS ME SLEEP.. I WAS RIDING HIGH ON THESE MEDS FOR TWO MONTHS. FELT ALMOST SUPER-HUMAN, FULL OF ENERGY AND LOVED EVERYONE. TALKED TOO MUCH TOO....THEN I CRASHED. DOCTOR DECIDES THAT I WENT MANIC DUE TO MEDICATION REACTION. HE UPPED THE EFFEXOR TO 225MG AND STARTED ME ON LAMICTAL, WHICH I'M ON 100 MG H/S, ALONG WITH TRAZODONE 150. LAST THURSDAY I WROTE MY WILL OUT IN LENGTH AND LOOKED INTO LETHAL METHODS OF SUICIDE. CALL THE DOC. HE NEVER MENTIONED GOING IN-PATIENT. SAYS BE PATIENT...TODAY I RAN HIGH ALL DAY, FELT MANIC. CAN'T STAND IT....ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.. THANK YOU. ROB
