I am going to try to appreciate all the little things in life today- that is what I have been focusing on recently- the simplier things. not letting the big things get me down...letting the little things raise me up!
I just had a great lunch and a chat with a friend.
Well the meds have started to kick in earlier than expected. So I am being a lot more positive about thinsg recently- it is helping to focus on the good thinsg in life and not let the negative messages I recieve form the world aroudn me to dominate. I haven't been derailed recently- which is a very good thing.
I recently started seeing a CBT therapist (she works with a variety of therapies not just CBT). I really like her and am hoping that our relationship can continue for a while as I do not currently have a psychiatrist.
I have had a lot of positive reinforcement recently and thinsg are definitely on an up swing. Thanks for all the feedback. and the resources are great.
Hi Tasha... welcome. i'm glad you are finding the program helpful. I'm with you about the meds. They help... so I'm grateful to have them. Thanks for posting here. It helps a lot when we can get support going for each other. I'm glad you are here and hope to "see" more of you as you work your way through the program.
I take 1 500 MG's in the morning and two 250 mgs' in the evening of Epival. (my doctor sort of screwed up my perscritpion but when he renews it it will liekly be 2 500 mg's of Epival- one in the morning and one in the evening.
for the respiridone i take 1 2 mgs in the morning and a 4 mgs in the evening.) I don't really mind taking my pills and I don't seem to experience too many side effects. which is nice.
I am really enjoying the online program and the tools seem excellent. I made it throughh to week two yesterday and am trying to set some realistic golas for myself.
Yes, welcome! I have only joined recently, and I really like this place.
I checked with my own mood tracker to see if you maybe overlooked your medication on the list or something (I overlook things regularly) but you're right, its there. Sounds like a huge dosage indeed, over 500 mg! I''ve been on meds once that came in 10 mg pills, and I had to go up to 280 mg a day. I hated the quantity of pills i had to get down my throat, felt like a meal Do yours come in a bigger concentration? Anyway, as long as they help us, right?.
Hope you will be able to stop your downward spiral, and after that... upwards!

My name is Tasha and I have Bipolar I. I have recently found myself in a downward spiral and am trying to catch thinsg before they get bad. I think I am on the right track and this CBT online tool has really been helping. Loving the activity tracker. The only thing I've noticed is that the daily mood tracker doesn't have my dosages of meds in it to select. Which is weird. Either I am on a huge doseasge of Epival or something.
