Well this program will help you to actively change that. The program will get you to track your pleasant activities and activities with others. Social interaction is so important to a healthy mind. Push yourself a little each day or each week if need be. Once you are more socially active you will be surprised by how much this can improve your mood.
Exercise is also great way to boost your mood and confidence. It can also be a great way to meet new people. Have you thought about getting involved with sports or perhaps taking a class?
How can you push yourself tomorrow to put yourself out there a bit more socially?
We are right here beside you and will help you every step of the way. You are not alone in this.
I relocated to a new town at the beginning of the year and had the daunting task of having to meet new people and establish new connections. Surprisingly enough I did manage to make some friends here, but as I started "appearing more depressed". I haven't been received in the same way. It kind of hurts. So I have been more withdrawn.
My workplace is a VERY anti-social place. I attend church and small group meetings once a week. Apart from that I don't get out too much at the moment...
Glad to have you back with us! I'm sorry to hear you've been feeling lonely lately. Was there anything in particular that initiated this feeling? What kind of activities can you do that involves being with and/or meeting new people?
I registered on here sometime last year, but somehow just faded...
I also finally have my own internet connection and to be honest I've had a very lonely road the past few months. On that no-one understands planet. So I figured I needed to be a bit more active in connecting with people that do understand. Because that is so important!
