I would not dare speak for others on this site but I can tell you fm my own experience, for some folks, quitting is definitely a learned trait. If Practice Makes Perfect then I am one who comes da*% close to perfect, (i.e. I practiced ALOT!)
Also, from what I've read, it is the rare individual indeed who is completely successful in their first & only attempt to quit smoking, (or anything else, for that matter.) Most people "slip" or whatever you want to call it, in their first attempt.
Sometimes, now, I actually say to myself, "Wow, I don't smoke. Is that cool, or what?!"
Keep up your resolve. If you start to waiver, repeat after me: "I do not smoke!" Even if you don't believe it at first. You will.
