..."Congratulations to all of you that have the courage to try again." You've said it all, Lady! Thanks! :) I have been a smoker for 35 years, and have tried 4 major attempts (lasting from 2 weeks to 6 months) and several minor attepmts (hew hours to few days) to quit! :) This is my fifth major attempt, and I'm determined to succeed! Cheers, nmc My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 62 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 629 Amount Saved: $310 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 16 Mins: 28 Seconds: 14

I could not agree more! Anyone who can go through the hell I have gone through this last few weeks is a mega-hero! My main reason for sticking with the quit is that I would be scared to do it again!! I too am very proud of the three you listed who are here quitting again and also of ALL of those who have relapsed and are back. I know many people change their user names when they come back after a relapse, and I want you all to know that I'm proud of each and every one of you whether I know who you are or not!!! Just the fact that you are all coming back to do it again is amazing! I know how hard it is because I have been there and am a better person because of that experience and so you will be too! Here's to all of us who are quitting... whether it's your first time or your 100th time! We are all great quitters! Crave the Quit!
Everyone on this site has something to give. You never know who you are encouraging when you post of your experiences along this journey. You never know the lives you touch or the inspiration you provide. You just may say something that will change the life of someone. You may not even know it but the person you help knows it. Hi Lady, you continue to help people and I would like to say that you are one of the few people that consistantly return to the site to help others. Long may your insight and compassion continue. I just want to say that I think those of you that dont give up on us, are totally awesome! Lady and Butterfly Swimmer, You are both very caring and wonderful people, I wish I had friends, in Ohio like you. Cuddles It's better to be a non-smoker with an occasional desire for a cig than a smoker with a constant desire to quit...... If at first you don't succeed...quit. Practice makes a perfect...quit. I liked my quit so much I quit again. (This time it stuck, though.) Don't smoke, okay? It's bad for you. mc My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/31/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 422 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,338 Amount Saved: $1688 Life Gained: Days: 41 Hrs: 2 Mins: 36 Seconds: 35
