Awww a great big hug to you. I quit for 3 months and messed up got stressed and started up again. The important thing is to pick yourself up, dust off and don't turn a slip into a relapse.
As far as your daughter goes, I assume she is 14, and you are purchasing a home. And for some reason she thinks she has a vote in where you will purchase the home she will live in? What would give her this idea? I would relieve her of that idea first off. Like I tell my daughter, this isn't a democracy. She can voice her opinion and I'll consider it, but I get the final decision. Period. Once she can pony up the cash, she gets a vote.
Just my opinion.
