I feel like a yo-yo

Ron, it is okay to be a yo-yo  I am going to tell you that this is the time I would lose my quit and have to start over and over and over.  It is not fun to start smoking, come here and tell everyone, set a new quit date, go though all of this crap again.  Do like the other have told you and just hang on, it does get better.  Sadly for me it took me a long time to get it.  My wish is that you do not have to go though what I did to get quit.  YOU ARE QUIT!!!  Now why don't you go buy a yo-yo; it will give you something to pass the time.

Keep the Quit

Hi Ron R..  Oh yes  I called themed pop-ups  they reminded me of one of those kids toys, you cranked the handle and a clown would pop up.

Just keep yelling NO  get your ash back in the can....   I hit them for awhile... before a milestone.  BUT after 100 days they came less often.

i used ice chips, popsicles.. I said freezing my mouth.... what ever works.   Remember a "Crave won't kill you.... the next cigarette could."

you have a reward coming very very soon.... 14 days.. well you get one now also for saying NO...

Just no tomorrow is coming and it will be a MUCH better day.

Cheers, hugs... and oh, by the way... i like your new cologne.. Bonnie

we know the feeling brother.

but look at this , when you finish ''heck week'' , you get to enjoy "who's your daddy" week !

because ron after 2 weeks you can look at cigarettes right in the eye and proudly declare "who's your daddy ? I AM''

good luck , you've done great.

Stay strong, and just know that there will be days like this, but it will pass. This is one of those days you get through one minute, one hour,  at a time.

You have to keep your eye on the prize.....The feeling of being out of the prison & in charge of your life is beyond compare. Being able to breathe fully and feeling truly healthy is incredible.

So--Ron--fight with all you've got--because it is SO worth it when you reach the moment when you know you are done smoking forever......

Just remember---smoking is not an option!
Stay Strong, my friend--it will get easier,
Deb

RonR,

Welcome to Heck Week! These feelings will come and go so keep your reasons for quiting, benefits of quitting and rewards plan close by. Keep on working on building your coping skills. Remember the 4 D's; Distract, Drink water, Deep breathe, Delay.

Stay strong!

Up...down...up...down....

The past few days have been a breeze, but today is really rough for some reason. Smoking is dominating my mind. I'm trying to stay focused on my reasons for quitting and trying to use those thoughts to drive the demon out. It definitely has its hooks in me today.

That demon is strong, but I'm stronger--NOPE
