Several years ago (about 15 to be about exact) my then employer hired a motivational speaker to -speak with us. (I wish I could remember his name to credit him, but I cannot).
He inquired to the audience of about 300 the following:
When you have been training a great whale for months to perform a trick, such as jump through a hoop, and he finally does it - what do you say?
Some one in the audience responded - "good whale"?
The speaker said - absolutely not! You don't say anything so mundane to such a magnificant (sp?) creature and feat. Rather, you utter with all your strength -
GOOD WHALE!! GOOD WHALE!!!! GOOD WHALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mr. Ed., To you sir, today I say with all my strength . . .
GOOD WHALE !!!!!!GOOD WHALE!!!!!!!!!!GOOD WHALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations and thank you for quitting, for motivating, for supporting. A special thanks to your wife for nagging (though this privilage (sp?) is not inclusive of all areas).
Best wishes forward. :)
