Congratulations!

You are going great!  Have you noticed any positive changes in your health yet?

You're doing great, Bonnie. Yeah, I had to reach a point where I was patient and realized that things took however log they took. I'm in this for the long haul, so I've got the rest of my life to quit each day.
My Mileage:

My Quit Date: 5/1/2009
Smoke-Free Days: 386
Cigarettes Not Smoked: 10,808
Amount Saved: $4,593.40
Life Gained:
Days: 43 Hrs: 11 Mins: 16 Seconds: 29

Great news Bonnie, so glad those first two weeks are done and dusted. I like your reading Allen Carr, although he wasn't my method in quitting, I did so love the things he wrote about smoking and smokers. He enlightens without patronising doesn't he? Plus he really made me think what a futile habit smoking is.

I think you're right too when you say you're not in smoking situations. My husband and I were lucky in that way too. None of our friends or families smoked and that is such a boon. I really sympathise with those who are trying to quit and have to live or be around smokers, that must make it doubly difficult.

Anyway, keep up the good work, you are doing so good Bonnie.

Heck week is officially over.  Actually yesterday was pretty good, no major craves. I did have  a headache yesterday.  I washed the afghans, blankets etc from the Faily Room. Basically took it easy.

No major craves.. Oh I am not fooled one bit, I know they can and will surface at the ost un-expected times.

I really have tried to go into this quit, with what I call "an attitude change" I am reading the Allen Carr book again.
I do have an advantage as I am not around a lot of smoking situations.

We got a phone call this am.. that set an "urge" but it is going away..

 Thanks Everyone for being here.

 Bonnie
