I will have to try doing that.  I want to be able to reward myself with REAL money, not just a stat on a computer screen.

What I've done is put $10 every day (the cost of what I smoked in a day minus the cost of the NRT gum) into a tin from the day I stopped smoking (June 22nd).  I have over $800 there which I plan to use for my trip to New York at the end of October.  By the time my trip comes around the money that would have gone up in smoke will pay for a couple of shows on Broadway and a couple of nice dinners.

I'm recovering, still taking Pamalor for neuropathic pain & Mobic for inflammation. Currently I’m working to strengthen my core to better support the spine, and losing weight trying to get pressure off the joints. I was on Prednisone for a bit and just blew up. I’m monitoring my exercise and my calorie intake, so far so good. I’m limited to low impact work outs and I have to be especially careful with my back.

I was able to stay strong, by avoiding situations when I could, and when I couldn’t just sheer stubborn will power. I feel better, my kids & my other half are proud of me, I can now smell cigarettes (that actually took a bit) and I don’t want to smell like that. My sister was married in Vegas in June, my first time in Vegas as a non-smoker hanging out with my smoker friends, it was tough but I made it. I kept reminding myself, yes it sucks, yes I’m craving, but it will get better and the more I just don’t do it I the better it will be. I have dreamed of smoking (especially with the Pamalor), I wake up in a cold sweat, but I refuse to go back to it.

Sorry I've been so quiet, that sore hip ended up being a collapsed L4/L5 & Sciatica. Through everything I have kept my quit, there have been days it wasn't easy but I didn't want all those withdrawls to be for nothing. Hope everyone is well.
