Dear Stuck-on-Duhhh,
This must be extremely frustrating for you. My best advice would be to make use of the site as much as possible. There are tools you can use on the left of your screen and of course, the support group. My only concern is the medication...I am surprised that there are no free clinics in your area. Have you done a search on the internet? Let me know how I can help.
Susanne
Ufortunately, Doctors and Emergency rooms cost money.. which I am in short supply of..
I've been looking for support groups to try to attend, but have ran into dead ends. I've also been looking for free depression clinics, and again, dead ends...
Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places (shrug)
Dear Stuck-on-Duhhhh,
The situation you are in sounds like a tough one. I am from Canada and am not completely sure how the system works where you are. Have you notified a doctor on your condition? Or perhaps even going to an emergency department? Let me know.
Susanne
I'm new to this site and I'm glad that I found it. I'll give you the short version of my background.
I was diagnosed 2 years ago with Depression. Last year, I was placed on short term disability due to spinal surgery. Long term was denied and boom.. no more insurance meaning no more meds. Here I am a year later battling hard and have nowhere to turn to get the help that I know I need before it's too late.
I do visit another support page on MSN, but web sites will not cure or controll what is going on inside...
I live in PA (Reading area) and if anyone out there knows where I can go where insurance is not an issue, please post...
TY in advance
