Finding help and then accepting that help is not easy at first and, like everything, takes practice. And with all practice, the first few times do not necessarily go so well - Nothing wrong with that - We must presevere...
My first encounters with doctors and therapists were not very encouraging but things improved, mainly because I was empowered by the understanding that I was actually HELPING MYSELF and DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT. That alone is enough to make one feel strong.
See your doctor or, if you are religious, perhaps your priest, pastor, minister or what have you - All will be sensitive enough to steer you in the right direction. Above all, be patient and tolerant in these early stages - As much as charity as you'd like from the world, now is the time for you to give it to the world in the form of patience and tolerance...
