Becky: This happened on a weekend and my husband originally talked to a psych doc on call, he told my husband: "This doesn't surprise me, I have had some other patients complain about the generic." My husband's regular psyc doc said that it is in deed possible that the generic doesn't work the same, as he has seen that phenomenon in some other drugs, although not yet Celexa (My husband was the first to report) However, when I filled his prescription at Shopko I asked the pharmcist and she said, "We have
had lots of complaints already and people are switching back." As far as hormones, I think it's entirely possible that it affected you, although I'm not a medical person, but you should certainly report this to your doctor.
How long were you on Celexa? How long did you take the generic? How long is it taking you to feel better?
