AM: Cymbalta 120mg, Klonopin 1mg, Depakote ER 250mg. PM: Depakote ER 1000mg, Klonopin 2mg, Trazadone 50mg. Still feel like sleeping all day, but just changed it up a little. Zero appetite. I will freak if my hair falls out.

Feeling horrible in the mornings and better in the evenings my psychiatrist says is a very common cycle.Since the mornings upset my stomach I usually drink an instant breakfeast.I have to force myself to get out of bed,get dress and drive an hour to an hour and a half from Long Island to New York city to my Job.AS the day goes on I try to keep busy and usually start feeling better by late afternoon.I never really tried Wellbutrin because I suffer from anxiety as well as Depression and I'm not sure if Wellbutrin also helps anxiety. My Doctor says it does and it is commonly added to effexor, zoloft and other antidepressent drugs.I might give it a try because paxil at almost 3 weeks isn't helping.I just went thru 6 bad days in a row.On effexor I was at least getting 10 good days than I would relapse for 5 days.

goldie, Yes, I have tried the combo of Effexor XR and Lexapro and it did nothing for me. It seemed makes matters worse. When I started that is when my mornings have come to be impossible since about Nov. Cymbalta is really not working, so the doctor added Wellbutrin. Have you tried Wellbutrin or any combo with Wellbutrin? The cymbalta was making me so tired. About mornings, anything that seems to help you? linda

I too was on effexor for 10 years with great success and then I decided to try Lexapro just to try something different.Big mistake. If your lucky enough to find something that helps stay with it.The lexapro helped but I felt effexor helped me better. When I went back to effexor it didn't help this time. Then I went back to Lexapro and that didn't help.Did you ever try taking effexor and lexapro at the same time?I too have awful mornings and feel better at sundown.I'm 2.5 weeks on paxil cr and do not feel well.I'm thinking of trying cymbalta next.I also take klonopin which is in the same class as ativan but longer acting. This is such a horrible illness that only we in this group can understand.Family members expect us to just snap out of this.

linda, Try some relaxation techniques to alleviate that stress. Stretching and walking can clear your mind and get you focused at the task at hand. Exercise can also be of assistance. Check with your doctor to come up with a plan that is right for you. Josie ___________________________________ The Depression Center Support Team.

I was taking Cymbalta 90 mg for 1 week (had been on 60 mg for 2 weeks before that Lexapro and Effexor), but when I complained about being so tired and achey, the doctor dropped the Cymbalta to 60 mg and added 150 mg Wellubrin. But the Wellbutrin hasn't helped. The doctor said give it more time, its been 1 week. I also take Ativan, but have tried to cut back during the day thinking that maybe that's doing it (I take .5 mg to sleep). Also, on top of it all, headaches are a problem, so I take Excedrin and the caffenine in that can make be anxious. I don't drink caffenine and never have and most of what I read says not to, but maybe some caffenine would perk me up. I work and its very hard. They are awful! How can I change this pattern of mornings being so bad with the headaches, fatigue, and depression? Things getting better as the day goes on. Its really hard to get going in the morning. Evenings are my best time. Any thoughts or suggestions on what might help me in the morning. Help! (By the way, I am doing Session 1 of the program.) I have been trying to get help from meds for a year now. I started out with bad mornings in the beginning and they are getting worse not better. In the beginning, before meds, I was very anxious with lots of energy, and had panic attacks. Now its the opposite.
