Melanie is absolutely correct. There are too many new/old drugs for treatment. It is difficult to find a good, understanding psych who is willing to spend his time getting your meds working well together. I have finally given in and decided to give this part of my care to a psychiatrist for med management.
I will also start seeing a counselor. I don't know what happened, but when I turned 60 it is like my entire life is playing over and over like a broken record. I have a lot more unresolved issues than I realized, and I also have a lot of resentment towards some members of my family. (No dysfunctional family here :eg:) Actually, it's been a pretty sucky life that I have managed to get through in one piece, but has left me with a pretty poor attitude towards life.Text
kitty,
Your best resouce will be your doctor, he/she knows you best and will prescribe the appropriate meds for you.
Take Care,
Melanie

Seems I've been on everything under the sun. Lately I am spiraling down. The effexor is not working. I am also on lamictal. Are there any new drugs? I saw an ad on tv but didn't write the name down.
