Tazz, I feel exactly like you do, been depressed ever since I can remember, also diagnosed myself and came to the realization that this is how it is and gotta live with it. But, then I see other people who are 'happy' and wonder, why can they be happy and I can't. I hear all the time people trying to explain to me all the benefits that I have that others don't, I hear and listen and see for a short period and then regress back to my 'old self'. I trully believe it is an attitude issue, it really is, the problem is that peple like us have a problem 'changing' our attitudes. Even when something good happens to me, I am still sad (depressed). I too am very mentally and phyiscally tired. There HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY, its a problem in our brains, it CAN be fixed. The question is how? I ran across this website, signed up, hoping it can help.

Welcome. I think it will help alot to have people who you can relate with and understand what you are going through. I am new here too but already have found people and stories that I can relate to.

I have been depressed for about 10 years, after about 5 years, I decided this is how it is and learned to live with it. I hate not being able to get any pleasure out of life but I have no ideal how to change that. I hope this program helps, I've self-diagnosed myself for years and can't cure myself, I am ready to let someone else help me. I am so tired, mentally and physically.
