i don't buy trinkets, i look at christmas presents as replenishment - socks, robes, calendars, picture frames, pepperment tea (all the kids got a pound). i have fun wrapping them because i am a little
and will put a small item in a bigger box, then a bigger box and wrap it all up in duct tape. i think christmas will become really fun again when there is a grandchild - can't wait!
At this time of the year with two major religions celebrating, the other 2/3 of the population just gets the commercialism rammed down the thoat! A moment of the year when the northern hemisphere is preparing for the great-cocooning of winter (I hate the cold and will look for any reason to ignore it) and the economy has decided it is the last chance to stuff trinkets into our homes.
MO3 is really great at summerizing whole discussions and putting her finger on the point. She has a wide experience and gently ruffles feathers every once in a while like a breeze.
It is nice to dig deep sometimes and see what core beliefs hold me! up and express them to the group. Thank you for the opportunity
I appreciate it.
