Sorry to say, and I'm a bad,bad boy I know, but I smoke to calm myself and relax.
I have heard it said that the calming effects of smoking have nothing to do with the nicotine, but are because it is an exercise in conscious breathing.
Relax, and simply sit down and do nothing but breathe. Start with simple breathing techniques, deep long rhythmic breathing. This will help you to find your center and balance. You will feel a great sense of calmness and tensions will be released.
