It may be different with different companies. Mine had the option of to the house or the dr. It may also be at the drs discretion depending on the drug and the circumstances. Either way its a great program. Im just happy to have the help. It really made a big difference.
Good to hear. They said I should have it within 10 days so hopefully soon! Is yours shipped to your house or to the doctor's office? Mine is to the office...not a big issue since my mom works there..I was just surprised because initially was told it would come to the house. Just happy to be getting it like this or I would have been switching to generic risperdal
I recently started getting assistance with Wyeth for Effexor XR. The initial paperwork was sent off and within 10 days I had my meds. I was a simple process. I just sent for my second three month supply a week ago.
It was great to find this availabe as for the first time ever I have no insurance, which I plan on changing soon. Generic was not working well and we know how pricey the name brand is.
I have no insurance and thankfully Buspar and Prozac are cheap. But with Seroquel I applied and was accepted into the Aztra Zeneca assistance program.
Anyone have any experience with these types programs...aztra zeneca especially. My mom works in a doctor's office and has some experience but I am more curious about how long it took for you to get your first shipment of meds etc. Experience from the patient end and not the doctor office end!
I am thrilled that I got accepted so I won't have to worry about buying seroquel for atleast a year!
