Thank u for your suggestions but its just that i get tired at times of this depression cycle......every time i think things are getting better..............but i am always wrong...........its just like 'calm before the storm' ...................i got my final exams from february ending.......and all the year i was trying to be stable and composed...working out solutions for depression....and all thats been happening in life.....and finally today i thought since things seem to be fine now ill get back to studies.....and i did.........but today late evening i just got to know about the storm which is here.......i am really worried i dont even have a month in my hand.......and i gotta study so much.......with my mood swings,depression,and all thats being happening......i am just too much tired of all this............
theres nothing thats working for me at the moment.......my near and dear ones have started losing hope......and now i too m losing hope............i really want to give my finals......it seems to be the only solution which of course once tried i will come to know if it did work..........its all dark.......iut there the ray of hope seems to be vanishing............

Hi, You don't know me, but I fight with suicidal thoughts, and some times every day. See I'm old and crippled and life just isn't worth a damn. Now is that a stupid thought or what. Even a few moments out of the day are worth it. I'm not depressed but I do get blue, I'm from the sister site.
I used to have panic very bad. One thing I found common is this thing you talk about. It is very common there for people to be doing very well and then slip back. In there case it may be one of two things, they can't believe that they can get better or that they deserve to get better. These are negative core beliefs. The thing is that they always cycle out of it. No one stays there. Now I don't know how it is with depression, but wouldn't it be worth it to stay on the meds and push yourself to do the program just to see if I'm right. I think I am. And if I am right wouldn't it be worth the work to be better. All it will cost you is some time.
I do woodwork, some times I have to push myself to start but once I start it feels so much better. Wish I could play guitar, I can't, got too much arthritis. 

You are not alone, and do not have to do this alone. But you do have to do this.

Sorry to hear that you are feeling like you are going down again. Are you still taking your medications? Please don't stop them without consultation with your doctor.
 
Please keep with the program. It's not a waste of time- but it does take time, and there may be lifelong changes you may have to learn to accept. Please call a friend or professional if you can to get some support and guidance through this rough time. We are here too.

m here after a long time..........i had started feeling really better....and now the graph of depression has again started to go down....i think m slipping back into depression and honestly.....before a few months i used to feel......suicidal every moment but with time its intensity and frequency got lesser n lesser n now it really feels bad that depression is again setting in........i hate getting out and then again getting in depression.....m hating this..........it feels like if depression had to come back then why did i put efforts to get out....n now that its coming back.......its better i stay with it.........n stop my medicines n.......all...............if its gonna come back like this then its of no use.......trying with meds or anything else.....its just waste of everyone's time and energy

I know you'll find the strength to deal with the past, and it will create great poetry and songs. Using your experiences to create is a way to help make sense of what you've been through.
 
I'm glad to hear you're continuing to play your guitar! Keep finding pleasure in everything you can.

.....well m not sure if all this is helping me or not....but.....
i even like to write poetries and songs........but have stopped doing so since.....a long time.....and dont think i am going to......atleast in the near future........
I will surely get back to it....once i have the strength to face my past....it has a lot to do with my past..........but guitar.......is my love........and i am happy that i have atleast got back to guitar......

Way to go Ray. Sounds like you are on the right track. I think music is a great thing. I alway wished I could play an instrument. Maybe I will put that on my lists of goals (learn something new). Hope you have a great day. Mandy1

yes i m using the program...... am using the tools......n have finished with my 1st session........
the last time i was in depression.....meditation really helped me out but this time its like impossible to meditate........
but ofcourse my family and friends are always there for me.......
but at the end of the day......its me who has to learn to live with it........
and accept that it can come back............
and for me accepting depression is really difficult.......
yup but now i surely want to come out......and m trying...
i have started to do things i like......
like practicing on my guitar......

   There are 2 ways to deal with depression.
 
   1. Get rid of It.
   2. Learn to live with It, like adjusting to ice cold weather.
 
   We need to be able to do both.
